Geraldine Sherman

Canadian journalist and short story writer Geraldine Sherman was fourteen when she first dreamt of visiting Japan. More than thirty years later, her dream came true. Her book Japan Diaries: A Travel Memoir was published by McArthur & Company in October 1999.

Geraldine Sherman has written short stories, feature articles, and book reviews for publications such as Saturday Night, Toronto Life, The Globe and Mail, and the Ottawa Citizen. For many years she was a radio producer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation; she has also worked as a town planner.
